first part of the video made me think he might have been on a fixie bike - harder to stop. Later part of the video proved that wrong. Confirmed douche

I’m pretty sure he’s the manager of Real Madrid now.

Bad cyclist... Pedestrians are easy enough to avoid, especially if they move at a constant rate like that guy. No reason to make the pass so close, and even if he were jaywalking (looks like he had the light?) it’s still not a big deal, just go around him. Definitely no reason to go back and attack him.

Bicyclist breaking the law, then gets pissed at someone he almost runs into and then attacks him. Sounds about right.

Came here to post similar comment. Happy to see I’m not the only one.

We don’t have jaywalking laws in the U.K.
If it’s clear to walk or they believe it’s sufficiently clear to walk they can.
The cyclist was bang out of order and I hope they get the pri**.

The piece of garbage that assaulted the suit or the ones that sat around and let him walk away?

It’s difficult to respond in the moment to something that’s so far beyond anything rational.

I worked in San Francisco: bike messengers. There’s an anarchist, a***ole mentality abounding in some bicyclists that’s difficult to fathom or respond to.

Only because we are conditioned to mind our business. “Hey, stop, I see you!” Is not hard. I’m not blaming anyone or expecting any superhero stuff but we need to address and call attention to violence.

Oh I member. Of course for me it was back in 1999 and 2000.
Oddly, I kinda miss Critical Mass.

I would not disagree. If I were there, I’d probably knock the guy off his bicycle and beg some other bystander to assist me by at least calling the police. Still, if it’s in Britain, there would be CCTV everywhere and he shouldn’t be hard to track down.

That’s right about when it would’ve been for me as well.

Many moons ago I worked a contract manufacturer near North Beach. When I was out late after work and didn't feel like waiting on the Mini nor paying for a cab, I would walk back from there to the panhandle. So I'm sure you would have at least cursed me out at least once for crossing against the light

Reminds me of EVERY bicycle rider in NYC. Elitist attitude, selectively following rules.
